Wellness 360 gets the money from advertisers who pay to place ads on their site, and part of the advertising revenue is paid to the members. So this is one site where you want to check out the advertisers to be able to continue to use this site and be paid for using it.

Each time you search you have the chance of winning Swag Bucks, which are redeemable for things like Amazon Giftcards (a great deal here!), Starbucks GC, Subway GC, electronics, iphones, musical instruments, trading cards, etc. When you win, you will win anywhere from 1 to 100 Swagbucks. And now, each Friday is Mega Swagbucks Day, and you can win up to 1,000 swagbucks when you search. As an example, a $5 giftcard at Amazon is 45 Swagbucks. Blingo is another paid to search site. Each search (up to 25 per day) is a chance to win great prizes instantly. To date Blingo has given away 88,315 prizes, and new prizes are announced on the site every day. Today's big prize is a Dell laptop. I haven't won anything yet, though I just started with Blingo recently.

Yet another paid to search site that I started using is Winzy. You win Winzy Points on searchs, or prizes. Usually I just win points, but the Winzy Points are free entries into their quarterly sweepstakes. On Winzy You can win iPods, Amazon Gift Cards or entries into the sweepstakes.

MyPoints - I just love MyPoints!! Here's how it works - its so easy. You sign up, and each day they send you a few emails. You click on the orange "Get Points" box at the bottom of each mail. When you click on the box, you get 5 points and will be taken to the site that is being advertised. They have a lot of great sites and I've signed up for quite a few. You can also earn points for doing surveys, for answering a couple of questions on the site, for searching, for shopping. They have contests all the time where you go to the site and enter. This is a terrific site. Before you know it you'll have enough for a $25 gift card to Red Lobster, Amazon, Wal-Mart, Target... over 70 different stores and restaurants. And its sooo easy. Quite a few GPT sites have closed or are closing this month. All seem to be due to family/life demands and the fraud that has plagued this new industry. The closings are Cash Duck, HoorayMoney, RockHardCash, AllStarsMoney, MadMoneyForMe, KashKitty.
I have deletes these sites from my list, along with other sites that I don't feel are "good sites".

Most of the closings were the oldest sites who tried to combat fraud by not offering a lot of contests and verifying member profile information. They couldn't compete with the newer sites who feel its necessary to entice people to their sites with contests where just a few members win anyway. I feel that the newer sites will eventually bring down the fall of GPTs since its obvious that their contests are inviting people to complete offeres they're not interested in just to win the contest.

If you'd like to try offers you're honestly interested in and complete surveys, be sure to join the sites while they're still around.

I just took a survey for Global Opinion Surveys, who merged with Synovate, and found I have 3200 points, but need 5000 to cash out at $5. I've been seriously slacking off with the surveys and am starting to get back into them. Yes, its been awhile. I have still been making quite a bit of money and having a good time doing it on gpt sites, which I will go into further detail later.

As a summer promotion, Marlboro cigarettes is giving away a lot of useful items, which will probably display the Marlboro logo. The only gifts they have left are a flashlight and a sleeping pack.

To get one of these items sent to you, call 1-800-MARLBOR and, when asked, punch in the code 3777. This is a fully automated call. You won't talk to a real person. You will be asked to speak your name and address so they know where to ship the product.

There is an optional survey at the end asking about which cigarette brands you use.

In the last two months, it became very clear that significant money could be made on the GPT sites. Shown below are the amounts of money I have made since July on these sites. I'll admit I got lazy after my fairly large DealBarbie payment in July. I could have tripled the money I had made if I spent more time on it.

And it's so easy. To be honest, I've been doing this since the middle of May, but haven't said anything on here about it because I just wasn't sure how legitimate it was and if it was worth telling about. I did a lot of research about sites called GPT (it means Get Paid To). The GPT sites get people like me to try out advertisers sites or products (or "do offers" in their lingo). In return the advertiser pays the GPT site owner money for referring me to try their product. The GPT site owner keeps a portion of the advertiser's payment, but gives me the rest of the money that I "earned" from "doing the offer". I hope that made sense. It's just like MyPoints.com, but instead of getting points, you get cash to try out different products or complete surveys. It's much more rewarding and more lucrative to get cash. For instance, today I went to one of these sites Deal Barbie and clicked on Blockbuster Online. Through DealBarbie, the GPT, I got a one month trial subscription for $9.95 for this site that I've been wanting to try out anyway, and "DealBarbie" will pay me $25. So, I'm out $9.95 for the trial subscription, but since Deal Barbie will pay me $25.00, I'll still make $15.00.

So, my big news is that during my two weeks of doing offers on Instant Profitz, I earned $81.32, which they deposited into my Paypal account today. Here is proof of what I got today in my PayPal account. On Deal Barbie, I earned $47.58, and they will pay me on the 25th. I know Deal Barbie will continue to pay out because the owner quit her steady 9-5 job a few weeks ago in order to devote her days taking care of her Deal Barbie business. So far, during the month of June, I've made $191.25 on Deal Barbie and $25.00 on Instant Profitz, along with $25.00 in Pocket Cash and 22.57 on Treasure Trooper. These sites will pay me at the end of July for the offers I'm doing in June.

All the above sites are reliable paying what's due you each month. Pocket Cash is fairly new, but very reliable. Treasure Trooper has been around for quite a while and also is very reliable.

Two weeks progress

Since February, I have started signing up for free samples. It's a great way to try new products, but my mailbox is usually stuffed & bulging everyday. Now I look forward to getting my mail because the freebies far outnumber the bills. The following are just some of the samples I've received: contact lens solution sample, Paul McCartney CD, Bounce sheets sample, Quaker Snack Bars, Downy plus whitening sample, Move Free arthritis pills, a $10.99 coupon for full size Noxema product, a year subscription to at least 10 different magazines, a Swiffer duster, ponytail holders, post-it samples and many, many more.

I plan to detail all the freebies I've signed up for as well as give the links to pass on. I've also joined various survey panels, but have found that I consistently get surveys from about 10 different companies. There are at least a hundred companies that I haven't signed up for yet, but I'm listing all the invitations I get to surveys and how much they pay so I have some idea of just how profitable it is or isn't. Depending on your age, marital status, # of children, etc. you may get more or less surveys that I do, and hopefully will make more money than I have.

My quest for money

I want to retire -- yesterday. This is my reason for wanting to earn extra money. But I have limitations... I don't want to drive in a snowstorm to a second job where I have to stand for hours and deal with shoppers. I want to work when I want to and when I have time. I have a full time job already, but I'd like a little extra - to pay bills off, pay down my mortgage and retire as soon as possible. I won't be 65 for another 15 years, but I'm going to make the best of the time I have.
I have been dabbling in finding ways to make extra money online. Since I don't have money to invest, it needs to be money given to me free and clear.
After noticing that I have yet to win the lottery, I needed to find an alternate source of income to retire on.
Two months ago, I read about people who entered contests and sweepstakes that were found in the Sunday coupon sections. I looked in the newspaper and found that most of the contests and sweepstakes could be entered online. The odds of winning are better than the lottery's odds.
I searched for sweepstakes and contest websites and found many to choose from. Two months of sporadically filling entry forms has only left me $5.00 richer. One of my favorite websites is http://www.online-sweepstakes.com/
They have nicely categorized all the sweepstakes into easy to understand areas. They are grouped by: brand new sweepstakes, sweepstakes that can be played daily, monthly or only once.
